About the Campus

Located along Highway 290 in northern Bastrop County, Austin Community College’s Elgin Campus has offered access to traditional and unique college programs since 2013. The state-of-the-art campus is home to Elgin Early College High School. The campus is part of a welcoming community that’s less than 30 minutes from downtown Austin.


ACC Elgin offers a broad selection of classes for academic transfer and career-technical programs. It also serves as home of the college’s Sustainable Agriculture Entrepreneurship Program, which includes a greenhouse and working farm, the nationally accredited Veterinary Technology Program, and the Truck Driving Program.


Elgin Campus provides students a full range of student support and services including advising and counseling, student life, and financial aid. The campus also features library facilities and media services, computer centers, and a learning lab with free tutoring.

Student-Operated Farm A working farm provides hands-on education and training in farm-to-market sustainable agricultural entrepreneurship.
Vet Tech The nationally accredited Veterinary Technology Program is getting state-of-the-art animal care facilities, opening in 2018.
