Tim Cline

Tim Cline earned his M.S. degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the Teachers College of Emporia State University, Kansas. He is currently the Director of eLearning for an international software company. With over 16 years of industry experience, he brings to the classroom a strong technical background with a deep understanding of user needs. His comprehension of adult learning coupled with his energy in the classroom make for a fun student learning experience. His ability to incorporate current technology into real world scenarios provides both a fun and challenging learning environment. In his spare time, Tim can be found cutting or faceting precious gem stones.

Jim Inness

Jim received a bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and a Masters in Vocational Education from Kearney State College. He taught high school for five years, then went into the business world. Jim has several Microsoft certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and spent over 15 years as a Computer Administrator, including five at Creighton University College of Medicine. Jim returned to teaching in early 2000 and moved to Austin Texas in December of 2000. He is now teaching Computer Applications classes for Continuing Education at Austin Community College.

Robin Magruder

Robin received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas A & I University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Park University. After working seven years in the insurance and telecommunications industries, she pursued a teaching certification from Southwest Texas State University. Robin has served as an educator for the past twelve years. She taught high school Business and Marketing Education classes for six years and has been an instructor with Austin Community College the past five years. She has provided training for the Continuing Education and Corporate Training Solutions departments in the areas of Accounting, Business Writing, Customer Service, Listening and Speaking Skills, and Microsoft Office software. In addition, she has obtained professional certifications through DDI & AchieveGlobal to facilitate corporate training classes.

Holly Nellene

Holly Nellene has 20 years experience in training, including classroom delivery, instructional design, and program management. During the day, she designs training materials for Dell employees and retail partners; and by night, she is a certified Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) super-hero(ine), teaching everything from basic Windows to advanced Access. Holly is involved with the local chapter of the Austin Society for Training and Development (ASTD). She collects degrees in topics that start with C, including: Communication - BA, Computer Science - BA, and Communication Studies/Rhetoric - MA. The latter led her to the University of Texas at Austin, where she settled in 1995.

David Scott

David Scott has been a computer applications continuing education instructor at ACC since 1989. He has taught about 500 classes to more than 4,000 adult students in topics ranging from the basics of computer use to relational database development. While David has recently focused on Excel and Access classes, he is capable of teaching any of the computer applications classes ACC offers. David developed or edited four student manuals that have been used at ACC. He has more than thirty years of hands-on experience using a variety of computer systems to solve business problems in both private and public sectors. When David isn't leading classes at ACC, he is a valued right-hand-man to business professionals, using his business education and experience to help them better utilize information analysis tools and provide business insights.

Andy Weaver

Following about 30 years of experience in engineering, project direction, information systems, business management, and consulting, Andy has been teaching computer applications and web design for almost 8 years. His business career has spanned industries as diverse as manufacturing, engineering services, R&D and software application, and e-commerce system development. His principal training focus has been on MS Office applications, project management, database design, and web development. He has considerable background in financial analysis and accounting and has taught and consulted using QuickBooks. Andy is adept with Crystal Reports, and with some of the newer applications, such as InfoPath, One Note, SharePoint Services, and Acrobat. He has BS and MS degrees in mechanical engineering and an MBA and is a registered Professional Engineer.

James Webb

James Webb has been teaching at Austin Community College for the past 13 years and has a B.S. in Chemistry, an MBA and a M.S in Computer Information Systems. He is the Assistant Chair Person for the Computer Studies department at the Round Rock campus. James has worked the computer hardware industries for 15 years and has owned and operated a software training company. In addition to being awarded teaching excellence awards as an adjunct and again as a full professor, James works on various committees in addition to teaching office automation, web design and database classes. He also teaches dual college credit classes at local high school, gives high school articulation training and is a recruiter for Austin Community College.
