Transfer Credit Information
Kansas State University will accept up to 63 credit hours from the community college toward the bachelor’s degree. Unlimited hours may transfer, but only the most applicable 63 credit hours are applied to the Bachelor’s degree. Students can review the transfer equivalency guide which is found at this link, to see how Austin classes transfer to K-State.
(Do D’s transfer? Do transfer courses that are repeated both count towards admission requirements or does only second or higher grade count?)
The GPA at the Community College must be higher than 2.0 for general university admission requirements. Only the credit hours transfer, not the grade. Admission into the General Business degree program requires a GPA of 2.3 or higher and student must have C’s or better in the Business related classes.
