It is a pleasure to welcome you to ACC. We want you to succeed while you are here. This handbook contains helpful policies and procedures for students; for instance, the academic standards of progress, honors and achievements, GPA requirements, the ramifications of withdrawing from a course, graduation requirements, and standards for student conduct. Some policies are state or federally mandated, but most have been determined by the ACC shared governance structure, which includes student, faculty, and staff input.

If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact an advisor or counselor at any campus. We respect your rights and responsibilities as a student, and we want you to respect and be respected by other students, staff, and faculty. Most of all we are here to help you reach your educational goal.

Sincerely,

Enrique Solis, Ph.D. Interim Provost/Executive Vice President
