MATH 1314 Online College Algebra

How do I submit my homework? You can submit homework to me in person, via US mail, or via campus mail from any ACC campus mailroom. I do NOT accept homework via email.

What material am I allowed to use on tests? You will be allowed to use a scientific or graphing calculator on all tests, as well as scratch paper and a ruler or straightedge.

How many questions are on the tests? Each exam has between 20 and 25 questions. You will find a list of review problems posted in the Announcements section in Blackboard.

Is this course self-paced? No! Even though there is flexibility each week in when you do your assignments, you need to adhere to the posted schedule of homework and computer lessons. If you fall behind, you may be dropped for "lack of progress." Please contact your instructor immediately if you find yourself falling behind.

How is attendance taken?  Attendance in all developmental mathematics courses is required.  Since we do not meet for class, attendance will be monitored by your progress in the software program.  If you fall more than two weeks behind or have not done any work online in two weeks, you will be dropped from the course.
