MATD 0370: Elementary Algebra

Summer 2017 (11 week session) - Synonym 26801 (Section 009)
May 30 - August 14, 2017

Distance Learning section (internet-based)

Welcome to the website for my distance learning Elementary Algebra course.

There are some links to the written assignments in the schedule that aren't working yet; they will be activated gradually as I finish them up, so you should check back each week for the one for that week.

Warning: Please understand that this is an 11 week class, which means we are going to be covering the same material we usually cover in 16 weeks in only 11 weeks (about 30% less time). This means you need to get started right away and stay on schedule; there is no time to take a "vacation" after you finish each test - you need to get back on the computer and start working on the new stuff right away. You will be covering 4 or 5 sections in the book each week (more in the beginning) and there will be a test every 2 or 3 weeks; I'm not trying to scare you, but I want you to understand what you are getting into before you start. If you don't really have enough time to devote to this class (think upwards of 15-20 hours a week - seriously), then you really should wait and take this as a 16 week class.
