MATH 1316 Trigonometry
This weekly schedule and schedule of tests is to help you pace yourself so that you may take your tests on time and complete the course during the semester. You may work ahead of this schedule and finish early if you like (though remember that you must ask me at least a week in advance if you want to take a test early). If you get behind, you must contact me.
For each section, start by reading the Lesson Notes, then watch the Video, and finally, look under "Online Assignments" in MyMathLab to work the Online Homework (and Quizzes). You will send me your Written Homework at the end of each week (due by mindnight each Sunday).
You can find the Lesson Notes, Lesson Videos, Quizzes, Written Homework, and Test Reviews in MyMathLab

Note: When working online homework assignments from Chapter 4, you will be matching graphs with equations. It is VERY IMPORTANT that you are able to graph by hand. For this reason, it is recommended that you print out graph paper and use the amplitude, period, and information you gather from the equation to get the shape of the graph. Do not rely on your graphing calculator in this section. In fact, try NOT to use your graphing calculator. Using the graphing calculator in these sections will put you at a disadvantage come test time when you must graph by hand.

Review problems for Final Exam (Answers) |
|||||
If you really need a few more days to take the final, you may contact me in advance to request that I put the test in the Northridge Testing Center for you through the Friday of that week. (I'm sorry, but this is not possible at any other Testing Center, due to logistics.) |
|||||
12 | 12/11 - 12/17 |
Finish all homework, computer work, and review for the Final Exam; then take the Final Exam
12/18 |
All homework, test reviews, etc., must reach me absolutely no later than this date for you to receive any credit for it (no exceptions). |
You must take each test at your designated ACC testing center during the dates it is scheduled to be available. Visit http://www.austincc.edu/testctr/ for information about testing center locations, policies and procedures. Remember that:
Important note about the final exam:
You will notice that the deadline for the final exam is kind of early compared to the other exams. This is because I have an absolute deadline when I have to turn in your final grades for the course and I have to allow time for the final exams to get to me from the Testing Centers. If you really need a few more days to take the final, you may contact me in advance to request that I put the test in the Northridge Testing Center for you for a few extra days. (I'm sorry, but this is not possible at any other Testing Center, due to logistics.)
