Biol 1409: General Biology: Diversity Of Life

Designed for nonscience majors who desire a more conceptual approach to biological topics. An introduction to viruses, prokaryotes, protists, fungi, plants and animals. Topics will include structures and functions, evolution , environmental and human interactions and the origin of life.

*reading and writing prerequisites; Biol 1408 is not required to take this course

*Biol 1407 & Biol 1409 may not both be counted for graduation
