This is a fully online asynchronous class (does not meet in person) and all learning is delivered through ACC Blackboard Learn. Reliable internet access is required, as is the use of the ACC student email account, and the use of Respondus Lockdown Browser. It is strongly recommended that students have a webcam prior to starting the course and are aware they may need to disable security settings on systems checked out from non-ACC institutions, or make arrangements to check out an iPad, or take assessments, at an ACC campus. There is a mandatory course orientation that must be completed in Blackboard by the Friday of the first week of class. This is a First Day Access course. First Day provides access to an eBook, provided by the ACC Bookstore. The cost of required digital course materials is added to students' tuition and fees when they register. Advantages include: Students are prepared on the first day of your term. The eBook is easy to access through Blackboard Learn and available on multiple devices. If students wish to purchase the textbook separately, they must opt out prior to the official reporting date for a full refund.  This class will be supported by an Embedded Tutor, subject to availability.
