Take the fast track to an associate degree
You can earn a high school diploma and an associate degree at the same time by enrolling in one of Austin Community College's partner schools or participate directly in ACC's Early College High School pilot program for independent learners.

Who is eligible?
Students entering grade 9 or 10.
- Satisfactory reading and writing scores on the TSI State Test, SAT or ACT exams.
- Acceptance a partner school or ACC’s early college high school program for independent learners.
- Complete the ACC enrollment process.
- Select and register for ACC classes before the open registration deadline.
What’s the cost?
Classes are free for students enrolled in one of the partner schools. Students enrolled in the independent learner option pay an ECHS per-course fee ($100 per course for ACC District residents and $150 per course for out-of-district residents).
Completed applications for ECHS for Independent Learners are due by 5 p.m. CT May 1, 2015
