As Executive Vice President of Campus Operations and Public Affairs, I would like to welcome you to the web site for ACC's Community and Public Affairs Department!
Here at ACC, our business is reaching out into the community and beyond. As a political subdivision of the State of Texas and as an entity that touches six counties, more than eight cities and about two dozen school districts, ACC must work collaboratively across many borders in order to successfully serve our diverse student population.
This means developing strategies and activities to ensure support from our government partners on a range of issues important to the college and its students.
In addition to maintaining strong relationships with federal, state and local governments, we are also responsible for maintaining ACC’s standing with the Austin-area business community (the employers who hire our graduates), our alumni, the region’s network of 6,000 non-profit organizations, and the college's growing list of global partners.

The Campus Operations and Public Affairs Department is responsible for leadership and supervision of the following areas:
Campus Operations and Public Affairs serves as the liaison between ACC and governmental entities at the federal, state, and local levels.
External Affairs oversees several specialized centers of study and public outreach.
External Affairs connects the vast network of ACC alumni to the institution.
