Welcome to the Austin Community College District (ACC). As ACC’s new president/CEO, I am looking forward to getting to know Central Texans and the region we serve.
The community college mission is to provide access to higher education to all who seek it and to support regional economic development through education and training opportunities. These range from Adult and Developmental Education to workforce education and university transfer.
ACC focuses on programs that give students the tools they need to succeed. Through the Student Success Initiative, the college is committed to enhancing outcomes for all students, especially those who are the most vulnerable and who often include first-in-family college students, students of color, Developmental Education students, and those who are economically disadvantaged.
I look forward to growing community partnerships, increasing ACC’s ability to serve more Central Texans, and continuing to work toward enhancing each student’s success.
