Begin enrollment steps

Whether you're a first-time college student or transfer student, you will complete ACC's enrollment steps to begin earning college credit.

Submit transcripts and/or discharge form

Submit your official military transcripts for evaluation and possible transfer credit. You also must provide the DD Form 214 discharge document if you are a veteran.

Apply for benefits

You can apply online for VA benefits and/or work with your ACC Veterans Affairs specialist to determine the best program for you.

Select ACC degree

VA requires you to select a degree plan and make satisfactory progress toward completing your degree. Identify the degree plan for your major and provide a copy to the ACC VA Office.

Optional steps

Apply for additional aid & scholarships

Complete the financial aid steps to apply for grants, loans, and/or work-study. You can receive financial aid in addition to your VA benefits.

You also may apply for a variety of scholarship opportunities, including some reserved for military and veterans.

Disability services

Apply for disability services to receive assistance or accommodations, if needed.

When to pay tuition & fees

In most cases, you must pay tuition and fees when you register. Contact an ACC VA specialist before your tuition payment deadline to confirm other arrangements.
