Office of Veteran's Affairs at Austin Community College

Welcome to the Austin Community College Office of Veterans Affairs website.

ACC is dedicated to assisting Veterans, Active-Duty service members, National Guard and Reservists and eligible military families in achieving their educational and professional goals.

The Veterans Affairs staff recognizes the adjustment from military service to college life is challenging. We are committed to providing our veteran students the tools, support, and encouragement needed to successfully transition to the classroom and understand the federal and state benefits they've earned.

This site serves as central point for accessing ACC information as well as external links to helpful resources.

Dr. Richard Rhodes PhD.

“Veterans and service members have done so much for this country, and we owe them our gratitude.”

- Richard M. Rhodes, Ph.D.
President /CEO

AttentionThe ACC Veteran Affairs department certifies veteran student enrollment after the semester add/drop period. The DVA Regional Processing Office typically sends the college the funding for the student's enrollment within four weeks after the certification is received. ACC will process the refund within five business days. NOTE: Students receiving financial aid and Chapter 33 benefits will not be issued a refund unless there is a credit on their account after tuition and fees have been paid.
