Study bioscience and gain valuable lab skills working alongside experienced researchers. Austin Community College’s Biotechnology Program is a key partner in developing a biotech education center and is home to the Bioscience Incubator, which provides students with valuable exposure to emerging research. You’ll learn to record and analyze data, participate in research studies, and create reports for publication for both private- and public-sector laboratories. In addition to an associate degree, entry-level and post-graduate certificates are available.

Apply bioinformatics tools to visualize, analyze, manipulate or interpret molecular data. May build and maintain databases for processing and analyzing genomic or other biological information.
