How do I get publicity for my class or department?

You've come to the right place. Communications & Marketing's communications team will help determine the best way to get the word out about your area. We're always looking for stories to tell in the community and regularly check in with various departments about what's noteworthy around the college. But we can't promote it if we don't know about it - so tell us your story ideas.

It's best to give us as much lead time as possible to evaluate the idea and pitch the story externally.

What publicity might I get?

Our department works with local, regional, and national media to promote college news. We also oversee the Speakers and Experts Bureau, which connects ACC experts (that's you) with reporters and community groups.

I am an expert, aren't I?
