Riverbats Bravo Award

The Riverbats Employee Bravo Awards program recognizes employees whose actions reflect exemplary customer service as demonstrated by excellent communication, collaboration, or responsiveness in support of the mission, vision, and values of ACC.

Any member of the college community may nominate any ACC employee they believe has demonstrated exemplary customer service as defined by the program’s criteria. There are three recognition levels for this program. Every employee classification at the College is eligible to receive a Level 1: Bravo award. Nominations that are received for employees who are eligible to advance to Level 2 and Level 3 are reviewed by the Evaluation Committee. Each nomination is reviewed by the committee members and scored based on the award program’s criteria

This program was initiated by the College President, Dr. Rhodes, and implemented in 2011.  Human Resources acts as program administrators and ensures the program is efficient, transparent, and nomination notifications are timely. 

Level 1: Riverbats Employee Bravo Award
Eligible: All ACC employees; full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, administrators, professional-technical, classified, hourly and student employees.
Nominated by: Any member of the college community with an ACC Gmail account.
Awardees: Every ACC employee that is nominated

Level 2: Riverbats Employee Excellence Award
Eligible: Full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, administrators, professional-technical, and classified employees.
Evaluated by: The program’s Evaluation Committee ( all eligible Bravo nominations are evaluated).
Awardees: One employee from each campus, per semester will be identified.

Level 3: Riverbats Employee of the Year Award
Eligible: Full-time faculty, adjunct faculty, administrators, professional-technical, and classified employees.
Evaluated by: The program’s Evaluation Committee ( all eligible Excellence awardees are evaluated).
Awardees: One employee per year; college-wide will be identified.

Employees undergoing disciplinary action are ineligible for Level 2 and Level 3.
