We are excited to tell you about our new partnership with Handshake. Handshake is a valuable tool that will connect you with employers who are actively recruiting students from ACC. Handshake offers new features, including:

Appointment Request

Current ACC students 

  • Go to Handshake and select Austin Community College Sign On 
  • Log in with your ACC credentials (eID and password)
  • Customize your profile and preferences
  • Start your job search 

Alumni or non-active ACC students (not currently enrolled) -you can still access Handshake at ACC!

  • Sign in to Handshake using your email address
  • Connect with Austin Community College Career Services (if not already defaulted to this preference)
  • Customize your profile and preferences
  • Start your job search

Attention students currently using Purple Briefcase (ACC Career Link)

  • Log in to Purple Briefcase and save any documents you have uploaded (resumes)
  • Compete any applications you may have in process. We will close all access to Purple Briefcase by the end of the semester.
  • Activate your account on Handshake

If you have a class assignment to complete your profile in Purple Briefcase, please complete your assignment by the end of the semester. For students enrolled in summer classes, please switch to Handshake for this assignment.

ACC Career Link (by Purple Briefcase) is closing at the end of the Spring semester.
