Registration Information

Register with ACC Student Planning

It’s time to plan your classes and register. If you have been admitted to ACC or are a current student, you may login to Self Service to use ACC’s Student Planning registration system. Don’t wait, classes fill fast!

Check your registration dates

Summer 2017

Current and former student registration begins April 3
New student registration begins April 17
Classes start for 11, 9, and first 5.5 week sessions May 30
Classes start for second 5.5. week session  July 7

Fall 2017

Current and former student registration begins May 15
New student registration begins May 30
Classes start for 16 and first 8 week sessions August 28
Classes start for 12 week session September 25
Second 8 week session October 23

Use these registration tips

Before registration

Plan classes in advance

Select and add classes to your semester schedule using the online Self-Service Student Planning application. If you’re eligible to register, click Register before logging off.

Set registration reminder

If registration is not open, find your registration date and set a reminder. Classes may fill fast, so you should complete registration as soon as you are eligible. Use the Student Planning app any time during open registration to adjust your classes.

Check and clear student holds

Check for student holds, which may prevent you from registering for classes.

At registration

Log in and click Register

Return to Student Planning on your registration date. Check that your course selections are still available. Make any needed adjustments and click Register. **Don't forget this step.**

Pay tuition before deadline

To keep your registration, you must pay your full balance (including any previous charges) before the tuition deadlines listed below. See online payment instructions.

Print class schedule

Print a copy of your class schedule in Student Planning. You can use the information to find your classroom on the first day of class.

After registration

Obtain ACC Student ID card

Obtain your free ACC Student ID card in person at any campus Admissions & Records Office. 

Purchase textbooks and supplies

Purchase or rent textbooks from the ACC Bookstore or any textbook retailer. To view required materials, log in to Online Services and click My Textbooks (under Academic Profile). The information also is listed in the course syllabus.

Get parking permit and/or Green Card

You need a permit to park on campus. Purchase it online. You also can pay a modest fee at any Cashier Office to receive a Green Pass that allows you to ride free on Capital Metro rail and buses for the entire semester.

Additional information for new students

Set up refund plan

The first time you register for ACC classes, you will receive a letter in the mail that contains a personal code and instructions for setting up a refund plan with ACC. Any financial aid or tuition refunds will come to you based on the preferences you set up. Learn more.

Watch for canceled class notices

Classes are occasionally canceled before the semester starts due to low enrollment. Check ACCmail near the end of registration to make sure your classes aren’t affected. Learn more.

Schedule changes (adds/drops)

If you are registered, you may make schedule changes during add/drop periods after classes start. Note that dropping a class may have unexpected consequences. Learn more.

Be aware of important dates and deadlines for each semester or session you take classes.

Log in to Self-Service for Student Planning

Log in to Self Service to access Student Planning. Your ACCeID and password are required.
