Prosper Tax Help is a free service available to individuals who make less than $60,000/year and households of 2-4 that make less than $85,000/year. The eligibility limit increases by $5,000 for each additional family member. Eligible students, faculty/staff, families, and households in the Central Texas area are all welcome!

Make an appointment to take care of your taxes privately in the newly opened Prosper Tax Help center, located inside Austin Community College’s Highland Campus ACCelerator. The 32,000 sq ft computer lab hosts a dedicated work space for IRS-certified tax preparers helping your household prepare, understand, and successfully file during tax season. The site is open most Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays throughout tax season.

  • File prior year tax returns
  • Get help responding to IRS letters
  • Complete ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) applications
