Opening 2020 at ACC Highland

Austin Community College and KLRU announce a new partnership unfolding at ACC Highland. Together, ACC and KLRU will expand the pipeline of talented artists and transmedia communicators and transform public television.

The new facility, opening at the former women’s Dillard’s at Highland, includes state-of-the-art TV studios, edit suites, master control, community space, and more.

As part of the Highland Redevelopment Project, this collaboration brings together ACC’s vision to build innovative instruction, flexible training labs, business incubator space, and non-profit resources under one roof.

The first floor of the 185,000 square-foot building will house joint facilities for ACC’s television studios including programming and production for ACC-TV and KLRU’s offices. Other portions of the renovation will house ACC administrative and student services offices.

    Digital production incubators supporting innovation in new media.

    Open centers for community-wide partner organizations to convene.
