Creativity Rocks With Musician Billy Morrison
Austin Community College District (ACC) Arts and Digital Media Division hosted Creativity Rocks, an online conversation with musician, actor, and artist Billy Morrison on March 23. Morrison shared with faculty, alumni, and students from ACC's Drama, Art, Radio-Television-Film, and Music Business Performance and Technology departments his artistic journey — from his early days in the punk scene, to his hard times with substance abuse and homelessness, and then his rise from that to sobriety and into his current "renaissance man" lifestyle where he creatively works in many different forms to express himself. One of his paintings has been purchased to hang at the Highland Campus. The conversation is available to watch on YouTube.

Employee Appreciation Day
Friday, March 5, was National Employee Appreciation Day. To recognize and thank the faculty and staff who selflessly serve our community and help ACC students thrive, the college created a webpage with a message board. View it here.
