Meet Your Center

Welcome to Lockhart, ACC’s newest location! Lockhart classes take place in two buildings: Students in career training programs will take classes in the historic Ford Building.

ACC also teaches college credit classes at Lockhart High School, where students can start their academic careers. Students can enroll in dual credit and Early College High School classes and earn college credit while still in high school, saving time and money on their college education.

ACC Programs and Services in Lockhart

ACC classes in Lockhart are ideal for students who want to start their college education by taking classes in a supportive environment. ACC offers transfer guidance for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college. First-generation students are welcome! ACC helps students and their parents understand the college journey.

Students who plan to enter the workforce get skilled trades training in a campus building just for them. Classes include automotive, welding, heating & air conditioning repair, plumbing, and more.

Austin Community College offers more than 100 programs in 10 areas of study that lead to career certificates, associate degrees, bachelor’s degrees, or university transfer. Explore classes that can boost your income, improve your skills, and change your life.

New facility for Continuing Education

The 20,000 square-foot historic Ford Building will open in January 2026 with classrooms and training labs designed to support in-demand, high- tech, and skilled trades jobs.
